Biography: State Rep. Zach Payne of Charlestown was elected to serve the constituents of House District 66 in 2020. Payne earned his MS from Purdue University and his MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. He works in marketing as the owner of a business in Southern Indiana. He previously served as the Clark County Recorder where he focused his efforts on modernizing and streamlining the office. From 2012-2015, he fought to protect property rights and save taxpayer dollars as a Jeffersonville City Councilman. He and his wife, daughter, and son live in Charlestown.
