Representative Travis Robert Weaver was born and raised in Central Illinois, where he graduated from Dunlap High School. He went on to receive his BA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Alabama then received his MBA from Northwestern University. Professionally, Representative Weaver worked in Finance and Strategy roles at Caterpillar, rising to become the company’s youngest Strategy Manager while simultaneously investing in local startup businesses. Outside of politics, Weaver is a Business Professor at Bradley University. He and his wife, MacKinsey, reside in Peoria near his childhood family farm within Peoria County. Weaver is an avid marathon runner and a devoted fan of Bradley and Alabama athletics
