Tom Delnicki represents the 14th General Assembly District of South Windsor, first elected in November 2016. Delnicki have been re-appointed by the Republican Leader to serve as the Ranking Member of the Banking Committee and will also serve on the legislature’s Planning and Development Committee. Tom is a lifelong resident of South Windsor. Tom grew up at 130 Felt Rd where he is a fourth generation to live on the last piece of his family’s farm, which was established by his great grandfather in the early 1900s. Tom graduated from South Windsor High in 1974 and attended the University of Connecticut. Tom recently retired from the Metropolitan District as a Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor. Locally, Tom is best known for his spectacular holiday light display, which he hosts every December at his home. Tom has served on the South Windsor Town Council from 1995 to 2007 and 2009 to present. During his time on the Council Tom has been Mayor twice, Deputy Mayor, and served on the first Strategic Planning Committee formed in 1999.
