Tobias Read is an American politician who is currently serving as the 30th Oregon Secretary of State since 2025. As a member of the Democratic Party he served as the 29th Oregon State Treasurer from 2017 to 2025. Before that, he was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing the 27th district from 2007 to 2017, which comprised parts of Beaverton, southwest Portland, and unincorporated Multnomah and Washington Counties.
