Stefano Famiglietti is a Democrat representing District 4 (North Providence, Providence) in the Rhode Island Senate. Sen. Famiglietti was first elected to the Senate in an August 2025 special election to complete the late Senate President Dominick J. Ruggerio's term. A lifelong resident of North Providence, Sen. Famiglietti previously represented District 2 on the North Providence Town Council, a seat to which he was first elected in 2018. Sen. Famiglietti is an attorney in private practice. He is a graduate of North Providence High School, a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and a magna cum laude graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law.
