Samuel (Shmuie) T. Berger is the youngest member of the New York State Assembly, proudly representing District 27, which includes Pomonok, Electchester, Kew Gardens Hills, College Point, and Whitestone. A lifelong resident of the district, Sam is an attorney, community advocate, and devoted father of three children, committed to making Queens a safer and more affordable place to raise a family. A graduate of St. John's University School of Law, Sam gained valuable legal experience through externships with the Kings County Surrogate’s Court and the Queens County Supreme Court - Criminal Term. Since taking office, he has prioritized delivering tangible results for his community, securing millions of dollars in local initiatives to benefit the district. Grounded in service and driven by a deep sense of responsibility, Sam is dedicated to building a stronger, safer, and more hopeful future for every family in Queens.
