District State Rep. Rylee Linting is in her first term in the Michigan House of Representatives and was elected in November 2024. She serves the 27 th House District in Wayne County, which includes the township of Grosse Ile, the cities of Gibraltar, Riverview, Trenton and Wyandotte, and a portion of the city of Southgate. Committees Rep. Linting serves as Vice Chair on the House Education and Workforce Committee. She also serves on the House Communications and Technology Committee, the House Energy Committee, and House Regulatory Reform Committee. Education Rylee graduated from Grosse Ile High School. She went on to study at Grand Valley State University and Liberty University. Professional Prior to serving residents in Wayne County, Rylee was the Michigan Republican Party Youth Chair, traveling the state connecting with young adults to get them engaged and involved in both government and their futures. She also served as the Motor City Field Representative for Turning Point Action. Personal Rylee was born in Wyandotte and currently resides in Grosse Ile. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, and finding new places in her district to eat.
