District State Rep. Ron Robinson (R-Utica) was elected to represent the 58th District in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2024 and assumed office in January 2025. His district includes the City of Utica and parts of the City of Sterling Heights, the City of Warren, and Shelby Charter Township. Committees Rep. Robinson is the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military and Veterans Affairs and the Vice Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor and Economic Opportunity. He also serves on the full House Appropriations Committee, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Local Transportation, and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Medicaid and Behavioral Health. Education Rep. Robinson graduated from Utica High School in 1987 and the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in 2000. Public Service and Affiliations Ron Robinson served in The United States Marine Corps from 1989 thru 1993 as a Military Police Officer.
