State Representative Ron Ferguson is serving his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives serving the 96th House District, which encompasses all of Jefferson and Monroe counties and eastern Belmont County. In addition to serving as the Vice Chair of the House Government Oversight Committee, Ferguson serves on the Financial Institutions, Medicaid, and Technology and Innovation committees. Raised in the Ohio Valley, Representative Ferguson graduated from Indian Creek High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from The Ohio State University. During his time at OSU, Representative Ferguson was a Politics, Society and Law Scholar. Representative Ferguson spent five years working as a television journalist, most recently for WTOV-TV in Steubenville. He is co-owner of 7 Ranges Entertainment, a family business located in Steubenville. Representative Ferguson resides in Wintersville with his wife, Emma, and their daughters, Ava and Eloise.
