Rick Williams

Senator Rick Williams, a Republican, has served in the Georgia State Senate since 2022. He represents Senate District 25, which includes Baldwin, Butts, Jasper, Jones and Putnam counties, as well as portions of Bibb and Henry counties. GEORGIA’S 25TH SENATE DISTRICT Sen. Williams currently serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Retirement and Secretary of the Senate Committee on Public Safety. He is also a member of the Senate Committees on Ethics, Higher Education, and State and Local Governmental Operations, as well as an Ex-Officio member of the Senate Committee on Rules. A Barnesville, GA native, Sen. Williams graduated from Baldwin County High School in 1970. He decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in the funeral services industry. Sen. Williams now co-owns multiple funeral service businesses, including Williams Funeral Homes of Milledgeville, Williams Crematory of Milledgeville, Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery, etc. Sen.
