PETER CONLON was raised in Montpelier, graduating from Montpelier High School and Dartmouth College. He and his wife, Mary, then served as Peace Corps volunteers in Paraguay before settling in Cornwall in 1990. They have three sons. He was a reporter and news editor of the Addison Independent newspaper in Middlebury through 2004, then worked for nearly a decade as a dairy labor specialist throughout New England. Since 2014, he has owned and operated Vermont Move Management and Home Inventory. He is a member of the Cornwall Volunteer Fire Department and the newly unified Addison Central School District board. He is former president of Friends of Cornwall School and Champlain Valley Little League.
