Pat Outman

District Rep. Pat Outman represents residents throughout most of Montcalm County and the Kent County townships of Solon, Cedar Springs, Nelson, Spencer, and Oakfield, as well as the city of Belding and Otisco and Orleans townships in Ionia County. Education Pat is a proud Wildcat as a graduate of Lakeview High School, where he wrestled, golfed and played football. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Legal Studies from Ferris State University. Professional and Public Office Affiliations While pursuing his degree, Pat was the lead carpenter for Railing Carpentry, specializing in residential home and agricultural construction, and followed in his father’s footsteps working in excavating. He continued following in his footsteps when he was elected state representative of Montcalm County, a position previously filled by his father, now-Senator Rick Outman. Before being elected to the Michigan House, Pat worked in the State House, first in the House Committee Clerk’s Office and later as the district liaison for Montcalm County.
