I am a Professor of European History at Keene State College, specializing in the intellectual, cultural, and political history of modern Germany. I graduated from Keene State in 1997 and received my Ph.D. in European History from Boston College in 2006. I have published two books on the reception of Indian philosophy and religions in Germany in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. I am serving my first term as a member of the Board of Directors of New Hampshire Humanities. I am married with three children and two grandchildren, and I am an avid runner who has completed several marathons.
