Representative Napoleon Bracy, Jr. was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives on November 2, 2010, elected as Chairman of the Alabama Legislative Black Caucus in 2013 and he is currently the co-chairman of the Mobile County Legislative Delegation. He is a proud product of the Mobile County Public School System graduating from Blount High School in 1995 and a 2000 graduate of Dillard University of New Orleans and also received his Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Pentecostal Bible College of Tuskegee, Alabama in 2014. Bracy is the Manager of Diversity, Inclusion & Affirmative Action for Austal USA a defense contractor for the US Department of Defense. His political career began in 2004 with the Prichard City Council representing District 3 at the young age of 26. Bracy was reelected to the Prichard City Council in 2008 at the age of 30 and was elected Council President. Bracy is also a member Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Prince Hall Masonry and 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile.
