NADER HASHIM, of Dummerston, was born in Boston, MA. Nader moved with his family to a Washington D.C. suburb during his youth, but eventually made his way back to his New England roots and lived in Rhode Island. He later graduated from Clark University in 2011, in Worcester, MA, with a degree in Political Science & International Relations. Nader sought a career in law enforcement and was drawn to the Vermont State Police. He was formerly employed as a trooper at both the Brattleboro Barracks and the Westminster Barracks since 2011. He currently works as a paralegal at a private law firm in Brattleboro. During his time as a trooper, Nader became a certified Drug Recognition Expert and is a member of the Fair & Impartial Policing
