State Representative Michele Grim is serving her second term in the Ohio House, representing House District 43, which encompasses part of Lucas County. Michele is fighting for an Ohio where all our families can thrive. From championing economic development and infrastructure investment to fighting to fully and fairly fund our public schools, Michele stands up for our priorities and delivers on our communities’ most crucial needs. Michele serves as the ranking member on the House Transportation Committee and is a member of the House Finance Committee; the Health Committee and, the Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee. Prior to her election to the Ohio House, Michele served as an at-large member of Toledo City Council, spearheading Toledo’s groundbreaking medical debt relief initiative with Lucas County and working to strengthen medical care for the underserved. She previously served in public health roles in government, university research, and with nonprofit healthcare providers.
