State Representative Michael D. Quinn was elected in November 2020 to represent the 82nd House District in Meriden. During his first term, he served as vice chair of the Executive & Legislative Nominations Committee and a member of the Judiciary and Public Safety & Security Committees. For the 2023 legislative session, Rep. Quinn has been appointed Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee and as Assistant Majority Leader. He will continue to serve on the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee and the Public Safety and Security Committee. Rep. Quinn is an attorney and partner in the Meriden law firm of Mahon, Quinn & Mahon. His focus includes representing injured workers before the Workers' Compensation Commission, personal injury and criminal defense. He served as the Corporation Counsel for the City of Meriden from 2007 through his joining the General Assembly and is an active member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association Workers' Compensation section.
