I was born and raised in Concord and attended the local public schools through graduation. After high school, I attended Hamilton College in New York where I earned a bachelor's degree in Public Policy. After college, I entered a master's degree program in teaching at UNH and also taught for a few years at Bishop Brady High School in Concord before moving on to work at Shaker Road School in Concord, where I still work as a school leader. While at SRS, I got married, had a family, and earned another master's degree in school leadership from Harvard University and a PhD in school leadership and policy from UNH. New Hampshire has always been home and I am proud to live, work, and represent East Concord.
