Matt Bunch

​I am Matt Bunch, and I am proud to be your State Representative in House District 51. I have a deep-rooted connection to Oregon. Born in Baker in 1959 and raised in Eastern Oregon, my values and work ethic were shaped by the rugged landscapes and tight-knit communities of the state. I graduated from Burnt River High School in 1977 and continued my education at Oregon State University, earning my degree in 1982. During my time at Oregon State, I was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, learning early on about the importance of leadership and service. Over the years, I have built a diverse and impressive work history, gaining a wealth of experience in various industries. From Ford Motor Credit, to positions with insurance companies like Allstate, Portland Insurance, Gustafson Insurance, and Clackamas Insurance, I have honed my financial and management skills. I also have a deep commitment to my community and have worked as a Development Officer for the Oregon FFA Foundation and as a bus driver for the Oregon City School District.
