MARTINE LAROCQUE GULICK was born in Tachikawa, Japan, in 1966, where her father was serving in the United States Air Force. Her family moved to Vermont in 1972 and she and her siblings attended public schools in South Burlington. She has a BA and MA from the University of Vermont, and has called Burlington home since 1995. Martine is a retired high school teacher who taught French and English and served as Library Director in Vermont and overseas. She has been a member of the Burlington School Board since 2018 and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Finance and Facilities
