LORI HOUGHTON of Essex Junction, Chittenden 22, was born in Washington, D.C. and has lived in Essex Junction since 2002. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Psychology from University of Pittsburgh and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management from George Washington University. Lori is a 2016 graduate of the Vermont Leadership Institute. Lori has worked in various sales, management, and leadership roles with both TransUnion and LexisNexis. She recently retired from LexisNexis to focus on the needs of Vermonters and her legislative role. She is focused on ensuring Vermonters can take care of their families, ensuring strong schools and childcare, addressing climate change, protecting women's reproductive health, and protecting youth. Lori is currently Chair of the House Health Care committee leading efforts to expand access to health care and remains committed to addressing the sustainability and affordability of our health care system. She served 8 years as Essex Junction Trustee, is a school volunteer and has served in various roles within community organizations including University of Vermont Children's Hospital Advisory
