Representative Leah Hansen was appointed to the Utah House in 2025. Representative Hansen represents District 51, which encompasses Saratoga Springs and portions of Eagle Mountain and Lehi. Leah attended Weber State University before prioritizing family to raise her children. She brings a strong desire to learn, listen and collaborate with colleagues, and is eager to grow through mentorship and community engagement. For the past decade, she has been deeply involved in Utah's legislative process, attending sessions regularly and following state policy closely. For the last three years, she has attended all 45 days of each legislative session either in person or online. In addition to her public service, Leah owns and operates a community social media page that connects nearly 17,000 members across her city, fostering civic engagement and community connection. Her commitment to service has been recognized with awards from the Utah County Republican Party and a Congressional Recognition Award for community involvement.
