JUBILEE MCGILL was born and raised in Middlebury VT and graduated from the Vermont State college system with a degree in business. She and her husband Lawrence settled in Bridport in 2016 where they are raising their four children. Jubilee has turned her personal experiences of poverty and homelessness as a young adult into a career working for nonprofits managing affordable housing and advocating to eradicate homelessness in Vermont. She has served as chair of the board of a bi-state organization advocating for progressive policy and helping marginalized residents of Vermont and New Hampshire run for office. At the start of the COIVD Pandemic, Jubilee founded Addison County Mutual Aid, a neighbor-to-neighbor volunteer network of support to ensure all Vermonters could continue to meet their needs during unprecedented crisis. She looks forward to bringing those experiences with her to the statehouse along with her strong commitment to community, equity, and compassion, to guide her work in the legislature and build a Vermont where all can thrive.
