Senator Josh McLaurin, a Democrat, was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2022. He serves Georgia’s 14th Senate District which covers portions of north Fulton County and includes portions of Sandy Springs, Roswell, Johns Creek, Atlanta, and Alpharetta. Previously, Sen. McLaurin served four years in the Georgia House of Representatives. Sen. McLaurin grew up in Cobb County, is a Double-Dawg graduate of UGA, and received his law degree from Yale. His law practice has focused primarily on business litigation and aviation law. Sen. McLaurin is committed to ensuring North Fulton remains a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family. Constituents are always welcome to visit his office on the 3rd floor of the legislative office building and share their ideas for improving state government. GEORGIA’S 14TH SENATE DISTRICT He serves as Secretary on the Senate Committee on Veterans, Military, and Homeland Security and is a member of the Senate Committees on Economic Development and Tourism, Retirement, and Transportation.
