Joe Polletta

State Representative Joe Polletta proudly serves the 68th Assembly District, representing Watertown, Oakville, and Waterbury. A lifelong resident of Oakville, Rep. Polletta was first elected to serve in the House of Representatives in a 2017 special election. He was elected in November 2024 to a fifth term. For the 2025-27 legislative term, Rep. Polletta will serve as Ranking Member of the Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee as the top House Republican on the state’s second-largest committee. Additionally, Rep. Polletta will serve on the Environment and Public Health Committees. Named a House Republican Senior Whip for the second consecutive term, Rep. Polletta is tasked with an integral role in negotiating legislation and securing key votes. As state representative, Rep. Polletta is an authority on issues ranging from state taxes and budgets to public safety, housing, and job creation. In 2024, Rep.
