As a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a small-business owner, Lucas brings valuable experience to policy discussions. His biggest priorities at the Statehouse are jobs, fiscal integrity, education and protecting the right to bear arms. Prior to joining the Indiana House of Representatives, Lucas served on the Seymour City Council. He also remains active in the community as a member of the American Legion, the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, is a life-long member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, and owns The Awning Guy, Inc.
