I have been a public servant for all my adult life, over 30 years. As the former state representative of District 52 from 2017 to 2019 and former Cascade Locks City Councilor, I understand this area's unique and diverse needs. I served as an airman in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm and as a sergeant with the Portland Police Bureau for 25 years. My wife, Shawna, and I live in Hood River with our two young children. I have always put our families and communities first.
