Heather Raymond is an expert on child development and family dynamics who has spent her career advocating for children in need. Mrs. Raymond earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Worcester State University. She began her career in upstate New York where she specialized in working with children who had experienced severe trauma before moving to Nashua in 2010. In New Hampshire, Mrs. Raymond worked for the NH Division of Children Youth and Families and CASA of New Hampshire advocating for children who were victims of abuse or neglect. A large part of Mrs. Raymond’s professional experience has been visiting local schools, participating in IEP meetings, and navigating Special Education Law. Mrs. Raymond was elected to the Nashua Board of Education in November 2017. She served as Chair of the Policy Committee in 2018 and as President of the BoE in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Mrs. Raymond was re-elected to a second 4-year term in November 2021 and is serving as Board Policy Chair.
