Greg Leding

Senator Greg Leding of Fayetteville represents District 30, which includes most of the city of Fayetteville in Washington County. His first Senate term began in 2019. Senator Leding is vice chair of the Senate Rules, Resolutions and Memorials Committee. He is a member of the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee, the Senate Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee, the Joint Retirement and Social Security Committee, the Joint Budget Committee and the Arkansas Legislature Council. In 2025 he began his second term as the Senate Minority Leader. Before his election to the Senate, he served in the House of Representatives from 2011 through 2018 representing House District 86. He served as Minority Leader for one term when he was in the House. He also was co-chair of the ALC – Higher Education Subcommittee, vice chair of the Insurance and Commerce – House Insurance Subcommittee, chair of the Public Health – House Labor and Environment Subcommittee and vice chair of the House Committee for Arkansas Boys State.
