District State Rep. Gregory Alexander is in his second term and was first elected to the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2022. He serves the 98 th House District, which includes residents in portions of Lapeer, Sanilac and Tuscola counties, as well as all of Huron County. Committees Rep. Alexander serves as Vice Chair of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. He also serves on the House Agriculture Committee, the House Election Integrity Committee, and the House Finance Committee. Education Greg graduated from Carsonville – Port Sanilac High School and earned certificates of completion from Hillsdale College. Professional Greg has worked in small business, retail, building and infrastructure for nearly 40 years. He owns and operates a Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program-verified apple orchard – and knows the immense role agriculture plays in Michigan. Greg was overwhelmingly elected to serve as Sanilac County’s Drain Commissioner in 2008.
