Rep. George Nardone (R-Dist. 28, Coventry) was first elected to the House of Representatives in November 2018. He serves as the Senior Deputy Minority Leader and is a member of the House Finance Committee, the House Environment and Natural Resources Committee, and the House Small Business Committee. Representative Nardone graduated from Scituate High School in 1982. He worked three years as a furniture upholsterer at the DJM Company in Pawtucket before currently owning and operating his own upholstery business, Castle Gate Inc. in North Kingstown. He is a member of the Coventry Republican Committee, the National Republican Committee, and Toast Masters International. Born on June 13, 1964, Representative Nardone and his wife Dawn (Urquhart) are the parents of a daughter, Nicole. He is a life-long Rhode Island resident.
