Representative George Hruza, a Republican, proudly represents part of St. Louis County (District 89) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2024. A highly respected physician, Rep. Hruza earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 1978, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1982. He earned his MBA from the Washington University Olin Business School in 1998. With a career spanning decades, he is a board-certified dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic surgeon – taking care of patients with difficult skin cancers. Rep. Hruza has been listed as a top doctor for over 25 years and has contributed more than 200 publications to medical literature, including textbooks, even teaching dermatologic surgery on four continents, highlighting his extensive expertise and commitment to advancing dermatologic care.
