State Representative Gary Click is currently serving his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 88th House District, which encompasses all of Sandusky and Seneca Counties. In 2006, Click accepted the position of pastor to the Fremont Baptist Temple and served through 2025. He recently stepped down and assumed the honorary title of pastor Emeritus. In over thirty years of ministry, Pastor Click has served in many aspects including youth ministry, bus ministry, writing, radio, Christian education, and lobbying Congress on behalf of churches and Christian schools. He has also served as a chaplain for law enforcement and in hospice care. Representative Click is a strong conservative who is able to reach across the aisle and find common ground when appropriate. He is responsible for leading the charge on the SAFE Act which bans radical sex change procedures for minors and Save Women’s Sports which bans men from women’s sports. As a former law enforcement chaplain, he is a strong advocate for the men and women in law enforcement. He is a proponent of strong schools both public and private.
