Senator Frank Ginn, a Republican, was elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2010. He represents Senate District 47, which includes Madison County and portions of Barrow, Clarke and Jackson counties. In 2000, the citizens of Franklin County voted to change to the county manager form of government. Sen. Ginn was selected to serve as the first county manager. He was employed with Franklin County up until he was sworn in. Currently, Senator Ginn works as a consulting engineer, assisting communities across the Southeast with utility expansion, economic development projects, transportation improvements, and civil site development. Sen. Ginn serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Economic Development and Tourism and Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on MARTOC. He also serves as a member of the following Senate Committees: Natural Resources and the Environment; Regulated Industries and Utilities; State and Local Government Operations. Sen.
