State Representative Eric Synenberg, born and raised in University Heights and Beachwood, is currently serving his first term representing the 21st House District, which includes all of Beachwood, Euclid, Lyndhurst, South Euclid, University Heights, and part of Cleveland. During the course of his career, Representative Synenberg has worked in a wide variety of roles. As an attorney, Eric has worked in the private sector and served in the public sector as Deputy Counsel for State Treasurer Josh Mandel from 2011–2018. From 2018–2024, he served on the Beachwood City Council. On council, he served as Vice President and chaired key committees, including Economic Development, Finance, Legal & Personnel, and Safety. Eric is proud to continue a legacy of dedicated service to the state of Ohio as a third-generation elected official. Prior to joining the legislature, Representative Synenberg was involved in numerous local organizations in the Cleveland area.
