Rep. Drew Stokesbary, who became House Republican Leader in April 2023, is serving his sixth term representing the 31st Legislative District. After graduating from a local public high school, Drew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and mathematics from Duke University. He went on to Notre Dame Law School, where he graduated cum laude . Outside the Legislature, Drew is a partner at the boutique law firm Chalmers & Adams, where he provides legal counsel to startups and emerging companies throughout the Puget Sound area and around the world. He is admitted to the bars of Washington and Arkansas, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Drew also serves on the Board of the Auburn Valley YMCA. Drew is a lifelong Washingtonian and resides with his family in Auburn. He and his wife Ashley have four sons and a border collie named Scout.
