State Representative Derrick Hall is currently serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives representing House District 34, which includes Hudson, Stow, Tallmadge, Silver Lake, Munroe Falls, and portions of Akron. Currently, Representative Hall is the ranking member of the House Insurance Committee. He also serves on the House Medicaid Committee, House Energy Committee, and House Veterans and Military Development. Prior to his election to the Ohio House, Representative Hall served as the president of the Akron Public Schools Board of Education. Representative Hall brings a socially pragmatic and fiscally responsible approach to addressing the critical issues we face each day in Ohio. Representative Hall prioritizes a strong public education system, robust support for small businesses, property tax reform, enhanced healthcare access, energy policy that is environmentally friendly, and improved senior services.
