State Representative David Rutigliano is currently serving his seventh term in the Connecticut General Assembly representing the 123rd District – which represents most of Trumbull. He is the Deputy House Republican Leader and currently the ranking member of the General Law. For the 2025 and 2026 legislative sessions, Dave will also sit on two of the most powerful committees in the General Assembly, the tax-writing Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee which has purview over all taxes and bonding in the state and the Judiciary Committee, which writes all of our state laws dealing with crime and the courts. Dave will also serve on the serve on the Executive and Legislative Nominations and the Legislative Management Committees. First elected on November 6, 2012, Rutigliano is a small business owner with over 18 years of experience creating jobs. He is a partner in the local SBC Restaurant Group, which owns and operates Southport Brewing Company, Local Kitchen & Beer Bar, and the Sitting Duck Tavern.
