CHRIS A. PRITCHARD, of Pawlet, was born in Burlington, Vermont. He was raised in South Poultney and is a lifelong Vermonter. Chris received his education through the Poultney School system, graduating from Poultney High School in 1980. Upon graduation, he entered the workforce. Chris worked 40 years in the automotive field in fixed operations. The majority of his career was spent as a Service Manager for Jim and John Hand, who owned a Chevrolet/Volkswagen dealership in Manchester, Vermont. Chris served on the Rupert Planning Commission, several terms on the Rupert Select Board, and also served on the Bennington County Regional Planning Commission. He also serves as a trustee for the Poultney Cemetery Association. Chris has been a certified Vermont Hunter Education Instructor for 35 years and is also a Certified Level 1 and Level 2 shotgun instructor for the UVM 4-H Shooting Sports Program. For the last 18 years, Chris has coached the shotgun discipline at his local 4-H club, Oxbow Mountain 4-H Shooting Sports in Pawlet.
