Profile Snapshot
When I was a kid, I moved around quite a bit. By the time I left for college, I had already lived in 8 different houses in two states and three different countries. I never really felt like I had a “hometown” and I always missed that. I came to work in Hampton for the first time in 1982. This is where I met my wife and after moving around a little more, this is where we settled in 1997 and raised our daughter and son who both attended Hampton's public schools. This is the hometown I missed growing up. I have a degree in economics from Bowdoin College and a Master's in Business Administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College. I began my professional career working for Wheelabrator Technologies, a developer and operator of alternative energy projects for 8 years. I then spent over 20 years working in a variety of human resource management roles for organizations such as Raytheon, Fisher Scientific, Fidelity Investment and Comverse Technologies. I joined One Sky Community Services, a NH nonprofit based in Portsmouth providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities, in 2015 as their Chief Executive Officer. I retired from that position in 2020.
