Carolyn Caton

Representative Carolyn Caton, a Republican, proudly represents part of Jackson County (District 33) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2024. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, and residing most of her life in Blue Springs, Rep. Caton graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1984. She pursued higher education at Baker University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1996 and receiving Cum Laude honors. She later attained a Master of Science in Public Service Administration from the University of Evansville in 2004. Rep. Caton has over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry, including roles in less-than-truckload (LTL), truckload (TL), and logistics. Her distinguished career includes being named Terminal Manager of the Year twice for a national LTL carrier, a testament to her leadership and problem-solving skills. Beyond her professional achievements, Rep. Caton has been a dedicated advocate for her community.
