Representative Bill Lucas, a Republican, proudly represents part of Jefferson County (District 115) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2024. A dedicated leader and community servant, Lucas brings a lifetime of service and hard work to his role in the Missouri House. He served his country as a United States Marine Corps veteran and worked for 40 years as a machinist, gaining a deep appreciation for the values of discipline, perseverance, and craftsmanship. His commitment to public service is part of a family legacy—his ancestor, Hugh C.P. Lucas, served as a Missouri legislator in the 1830s. Lucas remains active in his community through his faith and civic engagement. He attends Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church and is a proud member of AMVETS, AMVETS Riders, and the Masons. He also volunteers with Camp Hope, an organization dedicated to supporting wounded veterans and their families, exemplifying his passion for giving back to those who have served.
