BETH M. QUIMBY of Lyndon, Republican, is a lifelong resident of the Northeast Kingdom. She was educated at Concord High School and the University of Vermont where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received a B.S. in Mathematics (cum laude). Beth returned to UVM recently to earn a master’s in mathematics through the Vermont Mathematics Initiative. She taught middle school mathematics at Barton Graded School in Barton, VT, for over 30 years, retiring in June 2023. Civic involvement includes being a Justice of the Peace and serving on the boards of two local historical societies. Beth enjoys spending active time weight training, gravel biking, and four-season hiking. Member of the House of Representatives 2024 (appointed to fill the seat vacated by Rep. Charles Wilson).
