Scoring Methodology
How the Right for Office Score works
Five equally weighted pillars organize a candidate's reviewed public record. Subcategory scores are calculated from source-linked evidence; missing evidence is shown as insufficient record and is never silently counted as zero.
Five Equal Pillars
Each pillar contributes exactly 20 points to the 100-point overall score.
Inspectable Evidence
Every published subcategory links to the votes, bills, actions, statements, and citations behind it.
Editorial Review
Disputed, incomplete, or under-review scores remain unpublished.

Candidates may submit context, evidence, and correction requests. Score changes remain reviewable and versioned.
